Scott Miller and his associates at New England Financial provide comprehensive financial services to PERA members and their families, business planning and benefit strategies to small business owners and individualized family financial strategies for a variety of personal financial goals. The scope of his work includes retirement analysis – both planning for retirement and distribution considerations while in retirement, education funding, investments, family protection, estate planning, long-term care insurance and other elements of a comprehensive financial strategy. Before coming to New England Financial, Scott was a Financial Advisor with AXA Advisors. He retired from the US Naval Reserve, achieving the rank of Commander. He spent his entire career, both active duty and reserves, as a Mission Commander in the P-3 community. While serving in the reserves, Scott was a Production Supervisor and Section Manager for several high tech companies in the semiconductor industry, such as VLSI Technologies, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, Atmel and LSI Logic. He is very involved in the local community and is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America, Rampart Band Boosters Organization, and Grace and St. Stephen’s Church. He is a member of the University of Nebraska Alumni Association, American Numismatic Association, Phi Delta Theta and several other affiliation groups. Scott was born and raised in Nebraska and has lived with his family in Colorado Springs for the past decade. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and a MBA with an emphasis in finance and investments from Santa Clara University.
